July 25th, I posted statistics like the ones below.  At that time there were 5,793 homes for sale.  Today there are 849 fewer homes on the market.  The last 1/2 of 2008 has certainly been historic.  In January I will be recapping the Des Moines market real estate statistics for all of 2008.  I’ll also take a stab at making some predictions for the new year.
